Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. The age she is now at is 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother and Gene Kolber was her father. She attended Sandy Run Middle School Dresher Pennsylvania. Then she received her degree from the University of Miami in 1986 with an Associate of Arts degree in Telecommunications. In her first year of college she was hired to the post as a sports director at Dynamic located in Coral Gables Florida. In addition, she was employed by Dynamic Cable between 1984 and 1986 for a total of two years. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team at the time. Plaza was active in Wilmington community theater when she was when she was a young person, and was a part of improv groups, directed one-acts, and participated in various activities. In New York City, Plaza studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended an improv course in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006, she graduated with a master's degree in production of television and film. The year 2006 was the year she suffered an accident at the age of 20 she was diagnosed with expressive Aphasia.
