Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is a renowned American actor. Her most well-known role is as the Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well as on the drama of NBC Providence. Also, she was praised for her dramatic television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of author Elisabeth Kubler Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the pair that wrote the film Immortals. In addition, she is filming a brand new TV show titled Gods & Heroes.
